- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour

- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
7Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9 by 9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Press about two thirds of the dough into the bottom of your prepared pan to create the crust.
- 4
In a separate bowl, toss the sliced apples with 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon, then spread them evenly over the crust.
- 5
Mix the remaining dough with the oats, brown sugar, and cold cubed butter using your fingers until crumbly, then sprinkle this over the apple layer.
- 6
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- 7
Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing them into squares to serve.
Tips
