Sweet and Tangy Honey Dijon Dressing
A simple homemade dressing that is way better than the store bought versions.
enzo81.xyzI love keeping a jar of this dressing in my fridge because it works on almost everything. It has the perfect balance of sweet honey and spicy mustard, and the texture stays nice and creamy without needing any heavy ingredients.
You can use this as a dip for chicken tenders or as a quick sauce for roasted vegetables. If you find the mustard a bit too strong, just add an extra spoonful of honey to mellow it out.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
5Instructions
- 1
Grab a small bowl or a mason jar to mix your ingredients.
- 2
Whisk the mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar together until the mixture is smooth.
- 3
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while you keep whisking to help everything come together.
- 4
Add the salt and pepper and give it one last stir.
- 5
Taste it and add a little more honey if you want it sweeter or more vinegar if you like it extra tangy.
Tips
You can store this dressing in the fridge for up to two weeks in a sealed container. If the oil gets thick or separates in the cold, let it sit on the counter for a few minutes and shake it well.
